World Of Warcraft: Shadowlands Has Been Delayed Until Later In The Year
Many things come and go in the gaming world, but there is some things that seem to be damn near eternal. One such thing is the World of Warcraft MMORPG that has survived, and thrived, well after the crave of the genre has long since died. It’s been getting expansions steadily through its lifetime, and most likely will well after I am dead and gone. The latest is Shadowlands, which will take us to the dark afterlife of WoW, but it seems it will miss its original date.
The expansion was originally set to arrive on the 27th of this month, but it seems as if the developer has decided it’s better to delay it. There is no other date mentioned, only that they still plan to launch by the end of the year. While it doesn’t look great to hitting that goal to delay so close to the original launch and so close to the year’s end, the pre-patch that will lay the groundwork for the expansion will still make the month.
World of Warcraft is, of course, available now on PC with Shadowlands set to release later this year. The pre-patch will go live on October 13th, and no, there’s no console version planned still.
