Death Stranding Composer Is Working On “Undisclosed Project”
After many years of heading up the Metal Gear Solid franchise, Hideo Kojima was able to make a brand new IP with last year’s Death Stranding. The game was probably the closest we’ve had to Kojima fully unleashed creatively, and well…it was something. Yeah, it was definitely something. Views on the game were polarizing to say the least, but most agreed that the music was pretty keen. Now it seems the man behind the original score is working on something very secretive.
On his official Twitter, Ludvig Forssell showed a photo of his recording on what he called an “undisclosed project.” Clearly, there isn’t much here, only that he is working on something. Could it be the next game from Kojima Productions and Hideo Kojima? It’s certainly possible. Forssell has worked on Kojima’s titles since Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, even providing music for the infamous P.T. experiment.
It is possible he is working on another game, or even another non-game related project, but it’s also entirely possible he’s working on Kojima’s next title which is assuredly in development, perhaps even a new type of horror game. Only time will tell, but either way, it should make for a good score.
First “COVID recording” this year (for undisclosed project). Super happy with the results! pic.twitter.com/bpMrD3jAOB
