Ubisoft games on PC lose achievements, starting with Assassin’s Creed

Folks playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PC might be missing something. They may not have even noticed what’s gone, due to it being a rather behind-the-scenes absence. Trophies, challenges, achievements, whatever players want to call them, they aren’t present in Ubisoft’s latest Assassin’s Creed title, and it’s no mistake.   No more achievement hunting Responding to confused players in the Ubisoft forums, an employee stated that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be getting something else in lieu of achievements. “Achievements will not be available for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PC,” said Ubisoft support staff member Ubi-Baron. “Instead with the launch of Ubisoft Connect our new titles will use the Challenges system in place of Achievements.” That’s right, this change isn’t just for this game, it’s for all Ubisoft games on PC going forward.
